UK Location Council – Welcomes GeoPlace
The Location Council were unanimously agreed at their meeting today that the announcement of GeoPlace and the national address gazetteer by Eric Pickles MP, Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government was a very welcome step forward that will support many applications across the public and private sectors and will be an important contribution to the data required for INSPIRE.
